Improve your sleep schedule naturally by changing the timing system behind it.
Going to bed at a new time does not instantly move your biological night. Your body clock changes in response to signals applied at the right biological times and repeated across days. The planner turns the schedule you have and the schedule you need into a starting route for that shift.

Build your sleep schedule reset
Start with your recent sleep times, then choose the wake time or bedtime your life needs. You will get practical timing waypoints and the daily actions that can help your body adjust.
Why timing changes everything
A signal does not have one universal effect
Your circadian system responds according to its current internal time. Around biological night, the same light exposure can shift the clock later on one side of your temperature minimum and earlier on the other. At other times, it may strengthen the rhythm more than it moves it.
This relationship is called a phase response curve. It is why generic advice can be wrong for a particular goal, and why the planner first needs to know where your schedule is and which direction it needs to move.

Four principles behind your plan
Your result becomes more useful when you know what it is trying to change and why the timing has to be personal.
Phase
01Your clock has a position
Your circadian phase is where your internal day currently sits in time. It helps determine when sleep feels natural, separate from how exhausted you happen to feel.

02Timing changes the effect
The same signal can move the clock earlier, move it later, or have little shifting effect depending on when it reaches you relative to your internal night.

03Signals add up as a system
Light is the dominant time cue, while wake timing, movement, meals, temperature, and social routine can reinforce the direction or send competing messages.

04Change happens through repetition
A body clock is not reset by one perfect day. Repeated cues gradually entrain it to a new pattern, which is why a route uses waypoints instead of one dramatic jump.
Why repetition matters
Use the route well
Treat the times as waypoints, not commands
The route estimates a reasonable progression from the pattern you reported. It cannot command sleep to begin or know the exact position of your body clock. Its job is to give your changing daily signals a clear direction and pace.
01
Follow the direction
Moving earlier and moving later are different biological jobs. Use the actions in your result for your direction.
02
Let sleep follow
A listed bedtime is a target window, not an instruction to force sleep before your internal timing has moved.
03
Hold when needed
If your sleep has not followed a waypoint, staying there longer is more useful than accelerating the next step.
